Just an hour after news broke that the NBA season had been cancelled after the positive diagnosis of Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert, NCAA President Mark Emmert is expected to announce as early as Thursday afternoon that the NCAA Tournament has been cancelled at all levels of play due to the massive outbreak of COVID-19.
The Southeastern Conference just announced the cancellation of the SEC Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee.
ALERT: Based on the latest developments and the continued spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Southeastern Conference today announced the cancellation of the remainder of the 2020 Men’s Basketball Tournament in Nashville.

It was released Wednesday evening that fans were not allowed to attend the NCAA Tournament to help decrease the spread of the virus.
